Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited (TSDPL) was originally set up in 1997 as Tata Ryerson Ltd., a joint venture between Tata Steel of India and Ryerson Inc. of the USA. In 2009, Tata Steel acquired the entire equity of Ryerson Inc. and thus was born TSDPL, a 100% subsidiary of Tata Steel.
Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited (TSDPL) encourages students from various Business Schools and Engineering Institutes of repute across the country to be a part of its Internship Projects, usually 8 -12 weeks.
The internship program is designed to engage students in field experience. This gives them an on-the-job learning opportunity. The interns share their insights and explore the linkage between their academic learnings and industrial and corporate exposure.
The interns don't just learn on the job at TSDPL, they are also encouraged to share their knowledge and contribute by giving innovative solutions and suggestions.
