Your role

About the Internship:

The Tata group invites bright young minds across the world for an innovative program. The program offers international students an opportunity to experience Tata and explore India.

Tata Global Internships offers a holistic work experience of 6 to 12 weeks at the Tata Group, an industry leader with a conscience.

The program experience:

• This is not a program where you watch and learn, this is a program where you do and grow!
• Tata Global Internships is an in-person internship experience, where students would travel to the project destinations primarily in India. Depending on the nature of the project, some projects could be hybrid or done virtually from your place of residence.
• You and your fellow interns from all over the world will undergo an immersive business and cultural experience, where you discover India and the Tata universe together, and forge a lifelong bond of friendship and professional fellowship.
• As part of the program, you’ll be expected to cut your teeth on live business projects, working both individually and within teams. There will be well-defined and specific projects from Tata group companies, most of which will wrap up towards the end of the program.
• Don’t worry, they will not throw you into the deep end of the pool without a life jacket! There will be excellent support and mentorship provided to you by your project mentor and team, which will culminate in a final presentation with your findings and recommendations.
• They believe in customized projects, where one size does not fit all. You can work on group or individual projects, as part of a co-op, course, or ‘capstone’, and at various times of the year.
• You can incubate your business ideas as part of the program, taking the first step towards realizing your entrepreneurial dream, with ample advice, resources, mentorship, and counseling from project leaders.
• It’s not all work, of course. Even as you get a glimpse into one of the world’s fastest-growing economies and India’s most valuable brand 2022 (Tata Group), you get to explore the sights, sounds, smells, and stories of Incredible India!

About you

Requirements:

• The Tata Global Internships program is open to students of all nationalities who are currently pursuing a college or university degree outside India at any level of study - in any discipline, and at any stage of the course.
• They are looking for students with good academic records, but more importantly, those who demonstrate excellent learning agility and a keen interest in exploring different facets of themselves.
• Their past participants have come from universities across the globe, including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, MIT, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, University of Michigan, LBS, LSE, Cambridge University, Warwick University, NUS, NTU, Bocconi, IESE, IE Spain, INSEAD and many more.
