Your role

As an SEO Intern, you will assist in the implementation and execution of our search engine optimization (SEO) strategies. You will work closely with the SEO and content team to identify opportunities for organic growth through SEO-friendly methods and work on the overall improvement of traffic and rankings.

As a part of it, you will assist the team in various on-page and off-page efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Support the SEO team in the implementation of SEO strategies< on the page and off page >
• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-traffic and conversion keywords
• Assist in the creation and execution of link-building campaigns
• Perform on-page optimization, including the title tag and meta description optimization
• Analyze competitor websites and strategies to identify areas for improvement
• Monitor and report on key metrics such as organic traffic, rankings, and conversions
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and updates in search engine optimization

Training & development

Through this internship, you will learn about keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and other strategies that are used to improve a website’s ranking in search engine results on pages. You will also gain experience working with popular SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Moz.

Requirements:

• Understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, and excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in using windows, google sheet and excel

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

• Organic traffic growth
• Improved search engine rankings for targeted keywords
• Increased conversions from organic search traffic
• Reduction in bounce rate from organic search traffic
